Valentines Day

Valentines Day…

She sat in the den thinking of everything that could have been…

The clock struck 12 twice as she never moved a muscle contemplating everything thrice…

It was today and forever… Being alive was worse than breathing never…

She stood up with a mechanical stroke… She new what was happening, no way she would choke…

With a calm and grace, she made her way to the gun case…

Reached above for the golden key, soon she would be free…

On a day full of supposed love, she would be sent flying like dove…

The iron and wood seemed lighter than she could last recall, today everyone would fall…

She loved her family dearly, but they loved her back only merely…

She imagined her husband would be the in his old recliner in his new wife’s house, he wouldn’t suspect a thing, she had been quiet as a mouse…

Being a Grandmother was the greatest blessing to her life, but it wasn’t enough to save her life…

She loaded the gun before pulling out the driveway, she sang Michael Bolten the way…

Fifteen minutes flat, that red Cadillac seemed to have been made to sit where it sat…

She walked to the front door the .20 gage in hand, the doorbell rang… As the door opened “I loved you”… BANG….

True life events, fitting for those who seek a real gasp….🖤

HAPPY HALLOWEEN… 🖤 We miss you Gram…🖤
