Smiles

Mama, there are so many lessons that you taught me as a child but one of my favorite memories is when you taught me how to smile. This one is for you.

You taught me how to show just enough light so that they might want more…
Isolated muscle movements that dangle at the edge of the lure…
How to be captivating beyond capture…
A tool of connection that surpasses all statures…
It is in the eyes,
It is in the cheeks,
It is in how your smile seeks…
Be gracious and be kind,
And don’t forget to curtsey, less you will be left behind.
To be feminine and be strong…
And to be cautious, don’t dangle that lure too long…
Motherly lessons and Motherly advice, some were spoken and some I learned by watching your eyes…
Don’t act out of haste, it will surely to lead to a waste…
Please and thank you won’t always do… so make sure you arent afraid to say that you are sorry when you are through…
